About the Role:
In this role you will lead and resolve technical from functional and technical perspective, ensure adherence to testing governance and processes, review requirements to identify all areas of functional and non-functional (e.g. capacity, availability, response times, etc.) testing required, create and execute tests using Approved Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools as applicable aligning to overall test strategy defined, define the overall test strategy and approach for the programmer , complete assignment work to budget, time and quality requirements , document all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind .
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and execute tests using Approved Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools as applicable aligning to overall test strategy defined.
- Define the overall test strategy and approach for the programme .
- Escalate any issues to Programme Management as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issues for project’s point of view .
- Review requirements to identify all areas of functional and non-functional (e.g. capacity, availability, response times, etc.) testing required
- Provide accurate and timely status reports and project metrics to various levels of stakeholders and as agreed by the project and QA leadership team.
- Actively keep up to date with the feature teams, spot inconsistencies, and potential conflicts in approach. Work to ensure full integration with a focus on the quality of the overall service.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Knowledge of Scrum, Agile and Kanban
- Knowledge on Test automation tools-, API test automation using REST Assured tool / Karate, selenium.
- Knowledge in Performance testing tool
- Prior experience in preparing test metrics/reports.
- 4 years of relevant exp. and solid understanding of the Mobile app testing; android and iOS platform and managed >4 application on play/app strore.
- Experience with API testing using Postman.
- Experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution.
- Python Coding Skills is a plus.
- API level testing – Solid Knowledge of the API functioning both via manual and automation.
- Strong Stakeholder management.
